You Make Me Smile #BehindTheBlogger

You Make Me Smile......

My peeps are my number one smile maker!

My peeps:

My girl, Kelly, who is now also my neighbor!  Love her!  And all her family and all the church family as well!!!  Such a blessing in my life!

LOL me being silly with my bro.

Andy will KILL me if he knows his pic is on my blog.  But seriously tho, he would crack me up ALL the time.  We're like the three stooges minus a stooge.  I've never felt more myself in my life!  Miss him like crazy.

My Ohio peeps!!  Love them even squeezed in a 800 sq foot beach house. LOL

My good friend Robin who lives on the other side of Florida.  Miss her!

They all make me smile tons and I'm so appreciative of them all.  So blessed to have them in my life.

Other things that make me smile are the ocean and beach, just being outside (my backyard is so incredibly peaceful), and when good things happen to others around me and to me too. Lol  I love smiling at church listening and singing to the music, hearing the good word, and just being around like minded others.  I smile when people pray for me when they don’t have to – they do it because they love me.  Talk about unconditional love!!!!  Florida has been a blessing to me in so many ways and it just makes me smile all the time!

A Homeowner Once Again!

It is official - I am a homeowner once again.  What am I thinking! haha

Here's my house:

Here's the flowers I got from my awesome friend Robin when I got to my new house after closing:

Here is the view from my backyard at dusk.  SO peaceful, eh?

I'm currently getting a fence done.  White vinyl on the sides and black aluminum on the back (required by HOA).  Which still lets me having my pond view.

By the way, so far my neighbors are awesome.  I live next to my good friend Kelly and her family.  Next to them is a family too and I've met the wife/mom Amanda and she seems really awesome.  And next door to me on the other side is a guy who seems really nice as well.  So far so good.

I've slowly been moving smaller boxes (that I can lift) here or there.  I will move the big stuff on Saturday with the help of Kelly's hubby and a bunch of church peeps.  Thank goodness because I just moved 3 months ago and I paid over $700 for movers and I didn't want to have to do that again.

So I've started to unpack and put some stuff up.  Here is a picture of my new shower curtain in my guest bathroom:

And I'm planning on (right now) probably getting pavers as a patio.  My friend Kelly got hers done recently and they look AMAZING.  I was just gonna get concrete but...I really love the paver type look.  I'll probably get it the length of the back of my house and then maybe out 10-12 feet.

I've been wrestling with the idea of getting a hot tub and with the whole drama about getting my house wired for the hot tub...it is very overwhelming so I might just pass on it for now.  I want to get the bare necessities done for now (fence/patio) and just take any additional things as they come.  It is already overwhelming just buying a house and I really need to get my stress levels down so I'm putting that on the back burner for now.

Anyways, I did hit Target the other night and saw some really cool things for the patio:

This actually matches my house - or at least the umbrella does!  I love the whole set up.  I probably would maybe use a few less chairs and maybe get a cheapo firepit to throw in the middle or something.

This pergola was actually $399.99 in the store but it is $320 online.  Anyways...I'm really loving the pergola to go over my hot tub whenever I get it.  Also, I am loving the couch as well...that might be better than the other set up?  Hmmmm....so many choices!

Anyways, so that is it.  Exciting stuff.  I'm ready to move in for sure and have those quiet mornings with my coffee out in my backyard checking out the pond.  I will definitely miss my beach place but there is nothing like having your own space with no neighbors right against your walls.  And to have a garage again will be amazing on these cold Florida mornings.  And the closet space!!!!   So AWESOME!
