Big Week Astrologically - Cardinal Grand Cross and Lunar Eclipse

So I don't know if you guys follow astrology but I do and I watch all the astrologers and tarot/oracle/angel card readers on YouTube about everything this is going on.

Apparently, this coming week is supposed to be a big deal with the Lunar Eclipse and we already have a Grand Cardinal Cross going on (which I believe creates tension) and that will last through May I think.

Boy, am I feeling this tension.  Just in normal every day stuff like going shopping or traffic - the tension and anger coming from myself and I'm seeing in others seems to be heightened.  It is almost like I'm tense for no reason.  I was glad the weekend was finally here so I could simmer down from that a bit but...I still feel somewhat tense and I certainly have not been getting restful sleep this weekend either.  No fun!

I pulled this angel card for myself 2 days in a row so I figure it is some sort of sign.  Appears to be reassurance that I'm on the right path, these things are happening for a reason, to just be aware of it, and that there is a reason for everything.

So the tension is probably the Grand Cardinal Cross.  I am a cardinal sign so this is probably affecting me more than some other signs.

In addition, we have a Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Libra.  I think this Lunar Eclipse marks change - not sure if it is for everyone but it is definitely for my sign of Cancer.  Basically, supposedly this marks a change in home (possibly moving) and career I believe.  WHICH I HAVE BEEN WANTING FOR OVER A YEAR NOW!!!!  And basically, if you don't want this change, it doesn't matter, the universe will make it for you.

You can go on YouTube and just search your sign and April 2014 horoscope and you will probably bring up tons of videos that talk about your sign and how these aspects may affect you.  I'm going to add a video below of Michelle from Angel Souls.  She does angel card readings for the masses for each week and specific to each sign for each month.  At the very least, from watching her readings, you'll know that the angels are on your side and with you through these changes and through every day life.

What is interesting is the first card she pulls is change in career/home or possibly start families.  Huge decisions/changes.  By the way, I am ready for this change specifically in where I live so I can be closer to my family/peeps, but I am nervous that the change won't come in the form I am expecting.  However, I know it will be for the best no matter what form it shows up as.

P90X3 Confessions

So it has been a week since I completed P90X3.  You can go HERE for my P90X3 90 day comparison pics.  Here is what I've been doing all week:

It has been great not having the pressure of working out 6 days a week.  I'm still losing weight as well (due to my way of eating which you can check out HERE).  I am now 109lbs.

So I wanted to let you guys know some of the pros and cons of P90X3 (for me) and some confessions of mine.  Just a disclaimer - I did the Mass Schedule which focuses more on weight lifting whereas most people do the Classic or Lean Schedule which incorporates more cardio I believe.

Pros:
  • Muscles I built.  I had an incredible amount of muscle tone in my legs.  Even in the back of my thighs which I've never seen muscles there.  Not even while I was running marathons.
  • The workouts were only 30 minutes which was great.
  • You are able to do things you never imagined doing.  Like I cannot believe I can balance on one leg with my other leg stretched out straight with me holding onto one toe.  The yoga really made me so limber that I can put my leg behind my head.
  • You inspire people even though that might not have been what you set out to do.
Cons:
  • Seeing the pictures of others who have completed P90X3, they got 6 pack abs.  That honestly was my main goal.  I did not achieve that.  Now whether it was from me not being skinny enough at the get go or whether it is genetic or what...I do know that I do not think there is enough of an emphasis on working out the abs as I think there could have been.
  • Working out 6 days a week no matter what.
Confessions:
  • I did the full 90 day program.  I followed it to a T until about the 2nd week of Phase 2.  The last day of that week we were supposed to do MMX.  I had done it the 1st week of Phase 2 and HATED it.  I do not do jumping around etc. nor do I do cardio (unless I'm running outside for fun).  And MMX was basically boxing and then jumping down to the ground and moving around like a crazy person.  Not for me.  So I replaced it with Pilates from that point on.  Also, from that point on, if there was any cardio type move, I would improvise with something else that wasn't cardio.  I just wasn't having it.
  • I was doing pretty good with the whole program until maybe the 45 day mark.  And then I was over it.  I was completely and totally bored.  That is just how I am I guess.  I'm that way with marathon training.  I'm good to go for the first half and the 2nd half, I have to force myself every day to train.  This is exactly how I felt with this.  If I did not have a coach and others to be accountable to (we had a Facebook group), I would have most certainly quit.  I'm glad I continued on but it was definitely rough going.

April Wins So Far

As some of you might know, I like to enter sweepstakes.  It is one of my hobbies.  I hit a dry spell lately on wins but on Saturday I got notified of two wins!  Yay!  So I thought I'd share.

The first win was Shakira's new CD which I should get in the next week or two.  That was won basically by RTing something on twitter.

The above was a snippet from People Magazine about the CD.  Sounds like I might like it...a lot!  Hope so.

Then I go to the mailbox and got a surprise win from the Bethenny show!  Yes!

Leggy Blonde by Aviva Drescher of the Real Housewives of New York fame.  You know.  The one that is fighting with everyone right now it seems.  Haha!

And she signed it!!!!!

Such an awesome prize for sure!  I am obsessed with the Housewives franchise so this was perfect.  Especially since there is so much drama with her right now on the show.  The book is supposed to have some inside scoop of the show so we'll see.

I started reading it some and she starts out talking about her leg accident.  It was interesting at first because you really don't get all the details watching the show but now I'm kind of getting bored.  It looks like the book might be mostly about her leg but we'll see.  If I find out anything juicy, I will totally let you guys know!
